This adventure begins in the early hours, as we pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and drive you through the darkness to the base of the majestic Chachani. Our specially equipped 4×4 vehicles make the journey as smooth as possible, setting the stage for the adventure ahead.
As dawn breaks, prepare to ascend one of the highest accessible peaks in the region, reaching altitudes that offer breathtaking views and a sense of unparalleled freedom. Our trek starts at 5,000 meters above sea level, winding through dramatic landscapes and offering spectacular vistas of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes.
Challenge yourself with a climb to the ‘Nuevo Campo Inca’ at 5,170 meters, before pushing towards the summit. The ascent to Chachani’s peak at 6,075 meters is both demanding and rewarding, with the ancient volcanic crater and expansive views across the Andes serving as your reward.
Equipped with a light lunch en route, you’ll have the energy to conquer the mountain and then descend back to where our vehicles await. By late afternoon, we’ll be heading back to Arequipa, returning you to your hotel by 7:00 PM with a sense of accomplishment and awe at the natural beauty you’ve experienced.
