Explore our expertly designed itinerary below, crafted to showcase breathtaking views and provide unique adventures every step of the way.

Day Itinerary

Cusco – Sihua – Pukamarca Pass – Huchuy Qosqo – Cusco

Your excursion starts with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We ensure a comfortable ride to the trailhead at Patabamba, situated at an impressive altitude of 3848 meters above sea level. On our way, a brief visit to the vibrant Corao Market offers a glimpse into local artisanal crafts, an ideal spot for last-minute trekking essentials and unique souvenirs.

The trek begins at Patabamba, leading you to the quaint village of Sihua. Our expert guides will be your companions, unveiling the wonders of the local flora and fauna, deepening your connection with the Andean landscape. The journey then ascends to the Pukamarca Pass. At 4150 meters, you are treated to spectacular views of the Urubamba mountain range and the Sacred Valley, a panorama that captures the essence of the Andes.

Descending from Pukamarca, enjoy a carefully prepared box lunch, featuring locally-sourced ingredients to cater to a variety of dietary preferences, including vegan and gluten-free options. This meal is a perfect opportunity to refuel amidst the serene beauty of the Pumamarka Community.

Post-lunch, the trek takes a historical turn as you approach the magnificent Inca ruins of Huchuy Qosqo. Walking along a restored Incan trail, part of the Qapacñan project, you’ll gain insights into the area’s rich history and cultural significance. Explore ancient temples, storerooms, agricultural terraces, and a timeless Inca reservoir, each site telling a story of a bygone era.

The adventure concludes with a two-hour downhill stroll to Lamay, a picturesque village by the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley. Our transport awaits to escort you back to your Cusco hotel, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing end to your day.
