The initial stretch of the hike is a gentle ascent, offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River and passing through diverse microclimates like the captivating cloud forest. Be prepared for varying weather as you trek towards a breathtaking waterfall, the first major reward of your journey.
Beyond the waterfall, a short but enchanting walk leads you to the Wiñay Wayna ruins, set amidst lush sub-tropical greenery.
