Lima – Cusco – City Tour

Enjoy a morning flight from Lima to Cusco, included in your package. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Take some time to adjust to the altitude (3,400m/11,152ft).

In the afternoon, set out on a guided city tour. Visit the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), a stunning example of Inca architecture transformed during colonial times. Explore the archaeological sites surrounding Cusco, including Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Tambomachay, and Puka Pukara.

After breakfast en route, meet your trekking team and begin the descent into the canyon. Pass through lush landscapes with vibrant flora and fauna as you make your way to Santa Rosa (1,800m/5,906ft), your campsite for the night.

Day 5

In the afternoon, descend to Aguas Calientes for your train back to Ollantaytambo. A private transfer will then take you to Cusco, where you’ll check into your hotel for the night.

If this route is unavailable, we will book the next best option to ensure an unforgettable experience. Please note that the Ministry of Culture’s system may take time to process reservations, so we recommend booking your tour well in advance. Cusco – Flight to Lima – Lima City Tour

Fly back to Lima in the morning (flight included). Upon arrival, embark on a half-day city tour of Lima’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site brimming with colonial grandeur.
