Day 1

Lima Airport/Bus Station – Arrival – Transfer to Hotel – City Tour

Welcome to Lima, the vibrant capital of Peru! Upon arrival at the airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, rest and prepare for your afternoon city tour.

At 3:00 PM, explore Lima’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start at the Main Square, surrounded by landmarks like the Archbishop’s Palace, City Hall, and the majestic Cathedral. Visit the Saint Francisco Monastery, famous for its catacombs and religious art.

Continue to San Martin Square, admire the exterior of Saint Dominic Convent, and marvel at the historic train station turned palace. Stroll along the De la Union Pathway, cross the Rimac Bridge, and enjoy views of Lima’s wooden balconies. End your tour with stops at Cordano Bar and the Post Office Palace before returning to your hotel.

Day 2

Lima – Cusco – Cusco City Tour

Fly to Cusco in the morning, where our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the morning resting and acclimating to the altitude.

In the afternoon, start your guided city tour. Visit the Qorikancha Temple, an important site for the Incas dedicated to Inti, the sun god. Continue to Sacsayhuamán, a massive fortress with awe-inspiring stonework, followed by Q’enqo, a ceremonial site, and Tambomachay, the Incan Baths. End your tour near the bustling Plaza de Armas, Cusco’s cultural hub.

Day 3

Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, journey into the Sacred Valley, beginning with a visit to the Andean Textile Center of Awanacancha. Learn about traditional weaving techniques and meet llamas and alpacas. Next, explore the Pisac archaeological complex, perched high above the valley, and browse the vibrant artisan market in Pisac.

Pause for lunch in Urubamba (not included), then continue to Ollantaytambo Fortress, an impressive example of Incan architecture. In the evening, board the train to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay in preparation for your visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 4

Machu Picchu – Cusco

As of June 1, 2024, new circuits and routes have been introduced at Machu Picchu to preserve the site and enhance visitor management. Upon booking your tour, we will immediately begin securing your Machu Picchu tickets, prioritizing Circuit 2, Route 2-A (Ruta Clásico Diseñada) for its iconic highlights and photo opportunities. If this route is unavailable, we will book the next best option to ensure an unforgettable experience. Please note that the Ministry of Culture’s system may take time to process reservations, so we recommend booking your tour well in advance. Be attentive to your email or WhatsApp for updates on your ticket status. Day 5

Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusipata – Cusco

Leave Cusco early at 4:00 AM and drive to Cusipata, where you’ll enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. From there, embark on a guided hike to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), a spectacular natural wonder with vibrant mineral layers.

At the summit, enjoy panoramic views of the Andes. Descend to Cusipata for a delicious lunch before returning to Cusco in the early evening for a restful night.

Day 6

Cusco – Puerto Maldonado – Monkey Island – Night Safari

Fly from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado in the morning. Upon arrival, transfer to the lodge’s office for registration and board a motorized boat for a scenic ride along the Madre de Dios River to your Amazon Lodge. Refresh with a fruit juice during the welcome meeting and settle into your room.

After lunch, cross the river to visit Monkey Island, where you’ll observe playful capuchin and friar monkeys in their natural habitat. Learn about their behavior and the conservation efforts to protect them.

In the evening, embark on an exciting Night Safari along the riverbanks. Equipped with a flashlight, search for white alligators and possibly spot a capybara, the world’s largest rodent. Return to the Amazon Lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 7

Return to the Amazon Lodge for lunch. In the evening, join a jungle night walk to observe nocturnal creatures such as insects, amphibians, reptiles, and other animals that thrive under the cover of darkness. After dinner, relax amidst the tranquil Amazonian surroundings.

After breakfast, prepare for an adrenaline-filled zipline adventure through the treetops. With guidance from an instructor, learn to use the safety harness and slide through the canopy.
